Holo is a strong wolf deity who is worshipped in Pasloe for benefiting the annual crop. However, as the peasants become increasingly self-sufficient over time, Holo has been relegated to a folktale. When a traveling trader called Kraft Lawrence lands at the community, Holo offers to become his business partner in exchange for a ride to Yoitsu, her northern home. Holo's extraordinary ability to assess a person's character is recognized by the astute merchant, who accepts her offer.
