Tsuwabuki is a typical student who isn't very outgoing. One day, he meets Sumomo Akihime, a new transfer student, and another female, both of whom are members of the gardening club. A teacher forces Tsuwabuki to join this group. But then he runs across a weird person with dog ears and accidentally switches his drink with theirs. He gets given a plush animal for drinking it. The teacher informs him that the only way to return to normalcy is to locate the selected girl and allow her to catch the seven stardrops. Sumomo is the girl who agrees to aid him despite the fact that she is not allowed to know the animal's actual name.
