Crime is an eternal phenomenon. By the year 2071, mankind had spread across the galaxy, colonizing the surfaces of other planets with communities similar to Earth's. Murder, drug usage, and robbery plague these new society, and intergalactic outlaws are pursued by a rising number of fierce bounty hunters. Spike Spiegel and Jet Black scour space for criminals in order to make a living. Spike is burdened by the weight of his terrible history behind his silly and aloof appearance. Meanwhile, Jet deals with his own troubling memories while tending to Spike and their ship, the Bebop. Faye Valentine, a gorgeous con artist, weird child Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivrusky IV, and Ein, a bioengineered Welsh Corgi, join the trio.
